Been back on the potter obsession train for a little while again, just finished The Goblet of Fire, and I really wanted to do something with Magic/Lighting/Colors etc.
I seem to like going for the Movie look when it comes to drawing Harry. Probably cause I saw the movies then read the books, so the characters portrayed in the movies seemed to be the baseline for them overall and that just sorta stuck.

Wow! This piece is visually stunning, I love the way you drew the spell. The coloring is simply gorgeous and his pose is very interesting! You can see the anger and desperation in his face, and I love the way James and Lily both contrast and blends with the background beautifully. This definitely deserves a FAVE!

i just finished golbet of fire too! im re reading them for the first time since the last movie came out and im lovingit! and this painting is wondeful. i love the photo-realistic quality of the flying specs of light and magic. great colour, great pose and expression as well. very wondefully done!
