Description
So here is the Cruiser of the UNMC fleet, the smallest of UN vessels that can be labeled as a "capital ship". The cruiser is not technically meant for dedicated ship-to-ship combat, rather it's role is of missile attack, screening, and point defense. It does all of these jobs extremely well, especially missile attacks as the cruiser has more missile silos than any other type of UN ship. One single cruiser carries enough missiles when fully loaded to utterly obliterate an entire fleet by itself, although with current technologies most missiles can be intercepted and shot down, which is why the cruiser carries so many. It is not a particularly nimble or fast ship, although for its size this is expected. Cruisers usually hang in the back during an engagement, launching missiles and firing its dual tier 1 shock cannons (the weakest form) from medium to long range, distracting and decimating enemy formations while remaining relatively safe. UNMC fleets frequently employ massive missile barrages when an engagement starts, immediately throwing enemy fleets into disarray to attempt to intercept and dodge.
