So, this pic idea changed completely once I went in to finish it up.... instead of it being Seishiro holding the sign of Subaru's death in front of him as a crux to his love, it's Seishiro... releasing him, I guess after the battle on the bridge.And of course, Subaru won't change out of the clothes because it has Seishiro's blood on it.
Also, if you look at the tree in the BG, I put some blood on it, too. I'm not quite sure what it's supposed to mean, but it's there.

Erm, I'm back. I was just wondering, the description says that Seishiro is letting him go & you said that Subaru won't change his clothes. In the manga he says this after - *SPOILERS*
... killing him. Seishiro looks very much alive here, so what is happening exactly.

Well, I didn't realize it until after I had finished all the colouring that this is how I wanted to present it and I was simply too lazy to go back and change the whole thing. XD
I know that's what Subaru says, but I guess I can BS an explanation where, to Subaru, Seishiro is still very much alive. He's probably in a state of denial that the blood on his hands is actually... well, you know. So Seishiro's final words both bind them, and yet release Subaru from the mark of the Sakurazukamori (binding their spirits, but not their lives.)
Honestly, as I said.... I just didn't want to recolour it.
