Description
This is a handpainted blank book that I've decorated with polymer clay and aqua and green iridescent glass gems. I placed a bit of foil behind each gem and the reflected light makes the gems glow...really cool effect!

I managed to buy me some filmo metalic clay ^^ so I am gona give this a go XP lolz, will do it in my own style, but will provide links back to your work as you have inspired my idea

Now, when you make these, do you bake the clay first and then attach it to the book, or do you attach it first and then bake it?

For this type of book, I make the polymer clay plaque separately and once it is cooled and painted I glue it to the book.
