Description
A skull study for my college portfolio. 1.5 - 2 hours, Derwent Graphic. I used a male skull model from Anatomytools.com that I ordered a few weeks ago. I love it, it's a lot of fun to sit and draw it.Related content

It was a bit of an accident really. I believe the skull is modeled after a caucasian male? It does not specify, but when compared with pictures from other websites it was the closest match. I hadn't notice how long I had made it till someone else pointed it out to me, and then I looked at it in a mirror and saw it.

Yeah I asked because I do know that human skulls do come in different shapes. I think there are some places in Africa where they have long ones like that, and also in Africa there are some more primal looking ones. I also seen a few mexecans where they don't have a lobe, but rather the scull starts slanting back from the top of eyes and going to the back to make a dull point. It hard to explain, I would have to draw and show it to you.

I think Asian ones are particularly easy to spot. Mostly in the face. Everything is a little flatter and rounder looking, mostly around the nasal bone.
