Mixed Media for my Materials and Techniques II class
Gouache and ink on illustration board.
We had to make an illustration of pain, so I thought of a diver imploding from the pressure of the water, therefore, guts everywhere.
I would have put this in the mixed media category, but they don't have an illustration option
This technique is made to look like a faux etching technique. I have to draw out the image with an exacto blade, and then cover the entire thing in black ink, and wash the ink away to expose the painting.
