Not done a mermaid in a very long time (I was about ten years old last time I drew one.) This was fun. It was also a challenge for me to draw a nice looking mermaid without clothes on (because when you think about it, clothes wouldn't last long under water)... but I still wanted to keep the image clean and decent for all ages... I hope this works.

I have been working on several line arts lately because I am still working on the coloring book project... this is one of the images that will be included in the book when all is done. Also, heads up for my next coloring contest (still a good ways away)... I have decided that I will have you vote on pictures to color from all the line art works that I have going into the coloring book which have not already been colored by myself or used as lines for a coloring contest. Of course I won't start voting for these for a while, but this image may be one of the options. I will be uploading super small version of the choices and you will vote from those. More on that later... after all, this image is also being entered into the underwater lines contest at the wonderful
