One of my cosplays for Amecon 2006This costume is nearly complete, just got to modify the gloves correctly (i'm going to have to make them out of about three different gloves i think
). The kimono was not made by me; but my wonderful other half, she's getting really good at kimono making this one only took about a day in total

I love Yashamaru, but no one ever Cosplays him around where I live. Actually.. I'm the only person who cosplays any basilisk character out of 5,000 people every year....

Heh heh heh I didn't even sew mine, my other-half in the sewing part of our cosplay equation I'm more of a resources/prop guy
Being a man sometimes doesn't help with the more effeminate characters anyway

that often the fact of cosplaying partners...the girls sewing skills and some men are gorgeous in doing armours and such stuff...thatΒ΄s okay
i think itΒ΄s more important to do it together with someone beloved / friends - than you have much more fun in cosplaying!
then compliments to your girlfriend, she can be proud!^^
and thinking of details...oh my godness...i hate it ^__^ ..i will never be satisfied with my costumes xDD

Wow, great costume. I'm trying to cosplay him too, but i think my costume will look a bit... worse xD. It's going to be my first cosplay.

you know she is, thats her appeal lol... seriously, hers is probably one of the easier outfits to make up thou. at this point i might even give Yashamaru's one a shot myself... although i only have a few weeks till the con and i'm not that handy with a sewing machine

I guess you're right though, she probably has the easiest of the costume from the ladies of 'lisk (as long as you're ok with the exposure 
Next probably being Akeginu as she just wears plain red? or maybe Hotarubi for similar reasons.
Kagero and Oboro have the hardest of the ladies costumes i think
I'm not that handy at sewing either
You'll have to post up pics when your done though, it's always good to see 'lisk cosplayers

Fantastic, nice to see people are cosplaying as these guys, they deserve the love...
I'm dressing up as Nenki at some point this year, and maybe as another Basilisk character as well... if I can think of one...

I'm not to sure what cons yet, but I know someone wants me to go to Fuya con with them and someone wants me to go to the London Expo... dunno If I go to the London Expo though... might go to Amecon and Fuya con instead...

I'm going to Ame and Fuyu (as Captain Hans, Alucard and Ginko (from Mushishi) respectivly) with the badge name that's the same as my deviantart name (cos i'm completely un-original
so if I see some 'Lisk cosplayers i'll rush over and take some photos or something (because when we cosplayed 'lisk it was the official launch for the english version of basilisk, so no-one had seen it and we weren't recognised at all >.< )
