Description
Guided by Death------------------------------------------------------
First of all I would like to state that this image is not meant to offend anyone.I have served my country as a soldier in the past. Its just my personal view of war and the tragedy that comes out of it.Its an ART and not anything provoking.
People unfortunately often seem to be guided by a rage and fight each other blindly just to bring death upon their enemies. What ever the purpose may be the result is always the same, the loss of the precious human life...Thats why you can see death standing over the soldier and seem to be giving him the next target.Death is what always appears during war,and war brings pain and countless tears of blood...
Thank you all for viewing and I hope that you understand that this is just a clearly art aspect on how war looks in my mind.

I would definitely say that is clearly a matter of perception. As an ex-soldier my self and being raised in a country with a heavy history of wars, this is how I impersonate death and its influence upon men.You may read my description for further explanation. In the end, isnt death a dark spirit or some sort of demon?especially when this is brought to others as a cause of heartless killings.

I understand you 100% :3.
but no Death is actually a good spirit. Without death life would have no meaning. Death is apart of nature and the order of things. Id love to have his job for a week or two. and no im not some new age retard that talks about "nature man be happy".
The spirit of Death has no sides, it just comes when someone dies. This look of it is only one of many. This is the newer popular one of our era. Every culture in human history had a version of death, a spirit who comes when you die.
Either way you did an awesome job. and i'm not trying to pick any fights.
its just i really do not like anti-war. I support war, cause it is necessary and is more natural for human beings then peace. Hell naturals more violent then we are lol

I appreciate your comment as well your opinion,is welcomed.I have stated my personal aspect of death as it seems in my mind during war.Since the ultimate goal and cause of all wars is death,so,its impossible to look as something good in my mind.
I do respect your opinion but I will stick more to others people opinions and mostly to the ones who actually fought in wars or served in the army and got the deeper meaning of this artwork.Veterans came here to write about it and they saw that this picture says exactly what it wants to say, even more that the phrase that usually people gave for this "This is so true".Those who faced the fear and disaster ,or the loss of human lives during some wars, surely feel and know that death is what motivates all in the battlefield.Death definitely does not look as the good spirit you described during war.
We are not talking here about natural death but for the one who is brought for evil purposes, and that is what my work talks about.Im not describing the natural death here as a normal order of life. No,spirit or death not only comes when someone dies, actually, we summon it for our blind aggression to kill others in war.It doesnt look to me so nice spirit really under those conditions, and it seems you didnt understand my vision here.I will state it simple so avoid being misunderstood.Im not provoking anything here,a simple soldier during war has only one goal, killing.Killing means death and death is what motivates him to shoot, isnt it obvious here?thats he guiding ally. So,the death who comes upon innocent souls and claim them still looks like a good spirit?
We cause it in wars and is tragic, but as I said before, for those who havent faced such a situation is really hard to understand.
I dont get why you deepen so much in a simple expression of an artist's vision on a really delicate matter such a war.Its art, and art is personal, each creator has his own aspect in his mind, and everyone should respect that.A real soldier knows well that this is how death looks in wars.

The only thing you got wrong is i do understand exactly what you meant and expressed. i am not some foolish misguided boy who only sees his point of view and not others. And no i have not fought in a war yet. But i am not a normal kid, as arrogant as its sound. all my siblings have fought in wars and their stories and visions of it help me understand and experience it. It is true, better to see first hand.
i just was making sure it wasn't anti-war. like i said i cannot stand that theme.
Und you don't have to always experience something to truly understand and feel the power from it. Unless like i said im just a very different kind of person.
however this reply sounds, probably too you something of BS or arrogance. or even stubbornness or everyone's favorite inexperience. trust me when i say 'like ive said' i understand 100%.
and like you said i just have a different view. a different doesn't mean that person does not understand. But in this age and era, most people are hive minded and only have one side too something.

your portrayal of death in this piece does not follow the norm of mystical, skeletal or spiritual. This death is an ugly thing, something that invokes its charge instead of dealing with it.
The part i most love is the blood seeping from this twisted death's jaw down over the eyes of the soldier....in a way the lies of death (this unnatural death) blinds the man, to commit an act of war, to commit an act he does not understand.
Damned well done!!

Excellent concept...showing how people can be manipulated by a force that is dark and which resides in them..a dark force which brings out the worst in us...I love this one...The leaves falling...the whole death of innocence and love is shown beautifully...

Well my friend that's cause some people only like to see things their way and don't like it when someone tries to give them a broader view on things, specially on subjects as polemic as war. But I think you hit the spot, I mean, it is as you said, it really doesn't matter the reasons for war they can be justified or not, truthful or not but in the end the outcome is always the same, death.
And hey the pleasure is all mine, nice talk
