I love the detail of the whiskers!

To those that shut down others for having a breed and say to get a rescue I submit this: get one of the breed and rescue a second cat from a no-kill shelter or even the local pound.

I'm on my second c-rex (the first being a rescue) and not only are these cats great to look at and touch but they have a very un-catlike side to them. For me, I can't imagine a better pet than a cornish rex. I also own a sphynx and they are a close second as far as personality. Sweet, adorable clowns they are as a breed. ps. I also have three other rescue cats (domestics) and two rescue dogs. I'm doing my part!

I love cornishes rexes, the ones I have are quite the characters, but so cuddly and loveable none the less.

I love their big ears and eyes^^

Are the whiskers supposed to be short? o.o Wish token was furless lol, he sheds sooo much.

Yup! Part of the mutation that causes a Cornish Rex to have no overcoat (their fur is only the soft velvety undercoat), also causes their whiskers to be all wonky.

They are expressive looking cats, but i have to admit that i do not find them particularly nice looking Nevertheless, this photo captures their said expressiveness quite wonderfully

I am seriously considering getting one... but for as much as they cost, I could get another camera lens... decisions, decisions.

I would say get the camera and rescue a tabby from a pound You can potentially save a life that way

ooohhh my gosh -- what a cutie! I love those kinds of cats. They're almost alien, with their large eyes and odd bodies, but still beautiful in their own way.

And if you don't mind me saying so, but the cat matches your avatar rather well.

Hah, I wouldn't mind getting one of these cats for myself.
