I agree that this is a great series, even though it made me scratch my head to what the whole thing was about. It felt like an episode of X-Files or Twilight Zone, especially the weird notion of *giant irons* that would smooth the Earth flat. WTH!

"FLCL" is abbrevation of "Fooly Cooly". I don't know what made creator to name it like that, but I suppose it's becuase characters are kinda silly/foolish, and still kinda cool... "Fool-y", "cool-y"... Yeah. ^^'

xD well, it's anyway even more impressive when people draw with tradtional media - digital you can correct your lines as often as you want... but if you draw with pencil on real paper it's a little more difficult. that's why I admire your skills so much (:
