Ronan? I don't know what the name's meaning is. But Romano's name is interesting sounding! I think Romano is also a type of cheese... Yay for being part Italian!!! XD XD
Well sometimes I ams ofs da smartz. XP but yeah I assumed Damian is on the wolves side though I'm guessing he's not a true evil type or anything. My guess is that he only eats rabbits to survive but doesn't do unnecessarily or for fun or anything. Perhaps showing that the wolves are dangerous but not monstrous.
... Dunno just an idea I get from what you've said.

I don't know if aesk's role of savior being unsuited for a shy and simple child makes him seem more interesting or just completely unrealistic...

Saving the world while being a child like that does seem kinda off... Maybe that's why I think Aesk should grow out of it as the story goes, and eventually become a more confident, mature and complex character

It is off but I like the contrast. There's just something I enjoy about innocent characters that are at the same time surprisingly tough.
As for growing up... If you look around my gallery you'll probably start getting an idea of what I'm planning.
