Hey there!

I know that it's a little easy to see from the title and the picture itself, But I am looking for an RP with my characters! Mistsong from FrostClan or Mountainpaw from CreekClan!

Ya know. Most people just do simple little doodles or something for their characters when asking for RPs but I miiight of gone a bit overboard xD I had a bit too much fun. These guys are gonna end up being good practice for things that I am not really good/ am inexperienced in being splashing water and snow ouo I love both but I have no idea how to draw either xD oh well! I'll learn!

Mountainpaw padded around camp, sniffing the air curiously to see what cats were around that he couldn't see before making his way over to the streams in camp to hunt for some fish as he waited on something to happen, wishing that there were some kind of patrol or something, he wanted so badly to get out of camp with a real purpose past just wandering around. His ears swiveled back hearing the approaching pawsteps of another cat and his tail raising in a small greeting, not knowing quite who it was as he focused on a small fish.

Gingerwing padded through the camp, breathing in the fresh scents and relishing the sensation of the early morning sun on her fur. Half-way through the clearing she noticed her apprentice, staring intently at something. Cocking her head, she quietly padded over to stand behind him. The young tom seemed to be focusing on a little fish, and she sat down with her tail curled around her paws. She watched his greeting, but tried not to make a sound - an easy feat for the mute she-cat - so she wouldn't break his concentration.

A low concentrated growl escaped the apprentice as his paw slowly inched over the water, doing his best to keep silent past that until he quickly darted out a paw as fast as he could, reaching and swiping at the fish, successfully knocking it out of the water. However it was right into his face, causing a short yowl of surprise, causing him to jump back a bit before he tried to dive and bite the fish to kill it. He missed the slippery creature however and it hit him in the face once again before flopping back into the water. With a groan of irritation, he flumped on the bank, his tail lashing a bit before his head turned to look at what cat was behind him. Seeing his mentor however, his ears pressed back and eyes grew wide as his ears grew hot. "G-gingerwing! Gah... You saw all of that" he whined

Gingerwing watched each of his moves intently, so that when it came time for them to train, she knew what he needed to work on. She watched in surprise as the fish leaped up to come right into contact with her apprentice's face, and then watched his struggle to try and kill it; which ended in failure. When the young tom turned to look at her, she let out a purr of amusement. Standing and stretching, she gave the apprentice a reassuring nod, which she hoped communicated her appreciation for his efforts. She then flicked her tail towards the entrance to camp and cocked her head, silently asking it he wanted to go and begin their training for the day.

ya know, I think about Gingerwing then I think about this one warriors comic of a seprate timeline where Rusty never became Firestar, and I remember the kitty Sign Language that Snowkit was learning and thought what if they make their own little language where they could communicate like that? ouo here are some links to the two pages where the kitty-sign is shown and and I love the idea and wondered what you thought lol)

Mountainpaw's ears pressed back, hot with embarrassment. However he did stand and pressed against her side, listening to the soft purr and giving one of his own before looking up at her with a small smile. As ashamed as he was for making a fool of himself like he had in front of her, he could never feel bad for long. Gingerwing had her own way of making Mountainpaw feel better about himself. He glanced up and back, watching her tail flick and her head cock, nodding. "We're going training right? What are we going to work on today?" he asked curiously

(OML that would be so cute!! I love it! X3)

Gingerwing couldn't help but feel her heart fill up as the young tom pressed himself against her. Despite not being with him for very long, she already cared very dearly about him, and felt almost as though he were a son. And she felt very grateful everyday that she had gotten a chance to know him - because she was mute, Gingerwing didn't get close to many cats. At his question, she gave a nod and began walking towards the entrance. As they walked, she flicked her tail back towards the stream he had tried fishing in, and made a hooking motion with her front paw. She looked expectantly at Mountainpaw, hoping he understood.

(These two are just too cute I can't)

Lets make it canon~! and something to do with how Gingerwing feels about Mountainpaw.. weeell he sees her like a mother figure because his own kinda passed away when he was born so he never had a mother figure, just the queen who nursed him, he never thought much on it but he looks up to Gingerwing as a parental figure too~ >u< they are cinnamon rolls))

Mountainpaw focused on her motions, keeping pressed to her side because it helped him to feel when she'd motion to something and it was easier to understand. He couldn't help but to marvel at how kind Gingerwing was sometimes and how hard she worked to be a good mentor for him. He padded along with the ginger and white she-cat as they walked to the entrance then watched her movements once again. "Hunting practice? It's only becuase I failed so badly at that catch earlier isn't it?" he purred, though he grew slightly embarrassed once again. He understood why they needed to train on it though. It was easy enough to understand his mentor if he focused, her motions were very clear. At least to him.

Gingerwing let out a mrrowr of laughter at his comment, and shook her head. While he may have failed to catch that fish, he still had very good form and seemed to have the makings of a wonderful hunter. Once again she felt the uncontrollably strong desire to talk to him, to let him know exactly what she was thinking, but of course she couldn't. She shook off the feeling and looking down at the tom with pride sparkling in her eyes.
After a little while of walking, Gingerwing veered sharply to the left. She bounded over a couple fallen logs, looking over her shoulder every now and then to make sure Mountainpaw was keeping up, and then stopped beside a small creek. One advantage she had over other warriors in the clan was that she knew the territory like the back of her paw; and because of that, she knew the best places to hunt. After seeing her apprentice's attempt before, she decided it would be best to try catching minnows first before moving on. She sat beside the creek, waiting for Mountainpaw to be ready to begin.

The small tom kept up with his mentor as best he could, his shorter legs making him stretch farther in order to match her easy steps, almost tipping from the sudden turn, but he managed to clumsy regain his steps and ran a little to catch up, his tail sticking up straight, struggling to make the leaps over the fallen logs, getting stuck on one and having to scrabble to keep up once more however he managed, almost falling  muzzle first into the stream that Gingerwing stopped in front of suddenly. "I can't wait until I'm bigger so that I don't have to run to keep up" he teased softly, butting his head affectionately against Gingerwing's shoulder before looking to the minnow creek. So they were going to work their way up from minnows again. He crouched next to the water once again and studied for a moment before looking up to his mentor, wondering if she would give an example first or just let him hunt on his own. His ears tipped curiously as well as he watched her.

Gingerwing stifled a laugh at the young tom's struggles, and just imagined when he'd be older. She knew his frame would become much more muscular, and his legs longer. But for now, he was an awkwardly gangling apprentice.
Gingerwing purred affectionately at his comment and nodded. She honestly couldn't wait too. She shook the thought out of her head and then got into a crouch beside the creek after seeing that he was ready. She glanced over at him as if to say, watch. She returned her gaze back to the creek, making sure her shadow was out of the way. Once it was, she waited for a while. Then, with a paw so fast it was hardly visible, she lashed out with her paw. She made sure to exaggerate the hooking motion she made for Mountainpaw. Then, instead of jerking it upward, she hooked it towards her; then, with a swift bite, she killed the fish. Stepping back and nodding at Mountainpaw, she wondered how he'd do.

I'm debating on making him part munchkin cat xD just to spite his dreams of becoming big and strong, but I won't do that most likely lol))

Mountainpaw puffed out his chest indignantly when Gingerwing laughed silently at him, taking that as she didn't think he'd grow to be very big but once he saw the wonder and far away look in her eyes that she always got when thinking, he knew better and let his fur flatten once again, sticking out his tongue playfully until she crouched next to the water. He watched close at her method. Watched as she made sure there was no shadow on the water, she was slow and patient, something the young apprentice was not. She waited for a long time before she suddenly darted her paw out. He could barely see it, but noticed how much more hooked it was than hers. He water as she launched the fish straight at her rather than simply up and out of the water that he had done. She even managed to kill it so quickly. He made a mental note to attempt her motions exactly, he slunk his way to the waters edge and waited, his tail winding behind him impatiently. His claws flexed in excitement to show off to his mentor that he could be a good hunter. He waited for what felt like moons, silent minus the occasional pebble he would overturn with his winding tail, eyeing a large minnow carefully before striking. He lashed out his paw as fast as he could, claws out as he swiped at the fish, his paw hooked much more than it had been before, his attempts to mimic her obvious. He tried his best to bring it to himself, but he still brought it a bit too much up, causing him to stumble back and rear up to catch it in his jaws before it hit the ground. He stepped back from the water quickly, dripping the fish, pinning it with his paw and killing it. It was no where near as graceful and clean as Gingerwing had done, but he caught a fish!

(OML haha that would be hilarious xD)

Gingerwing watched intently as her apprentice began his attempt. She was proud that he was being very patient, and relatively quiet. As he hooked his paw she gave a small nod; it was better, but he could still make it a little faster and neater. When he stumbled back to try and kill the fish, her eyes widened slightly, and then she gave a cat-smile when he killed it. She brushed her tail against Mountainpaw's flank in a "congratulations" motion, faintly purring. Then she sat down, trying to think of how to tell him what he could do better. Looking around, she spotted a pebble and drew it toward her with her tail. Making sure Mountainpaw was watching, she lashed out her paw at it again, making sure he could see that she made a slashing motion as it struck the pebble, knocking it into her paw. She paused then, giving the young tom a moment to register what she had done. Then, after a moment, she quickly drew it back up, a quick flicking motion towards her. Once she was finished, she looked up expectantly at her apprentice, wondering it he'd need her to do it again.

It would be XD but its not. Cause he's large for his age already, so he is gonna be a big cat anyways Lol)

Mountianpaw purred happily as he raised his head to look up at his mentor, his purr growing louder as she congratulated him,very proud of himself for catching a fish that big. Well it was huge to him seeing as it was only a minnow. He sat, his long fluffy tail curling around his paws as he watched Gingerwing show him a better way to swipe.
His rose to his paws again when he got the look that told him tot try it himself. He doubted he could do it as well as her, but he tried his hardest. His fur puffed out in effort as he made a pile of pebbles and practiced flinging them towards him in one swipe, but his movements were quite sloppy, the pebbles going flying different directions however the more he practiced, the closer he got to bringing them to himself. His final attempt ended with him flinging a rock at himself and hitting himself smack dab in the forehead, causing him to hiss in surprise and stumble back and sit down. A small mewl escaped as he rubbed his paw where it hit, having swiped too hard.

Gingerwing watched as he practiced on more pebbles, feeling proud. The more he did it the more he seemed to get better at it, which was reassuring. However, when he knocked the pebble against his forehead, she blinked and widened her eyes in surprise. Her reaction was quickly engulfed by worry and concern, and she padded over and wrapped herself around him comfortingly. After the initial surprise, the relief that she felt when she found he was okay overflowed and she began laughing. After a moment she composed herself again, padding back to where she was sitting before. She then angled her head toward the creek, as if to say, why don't you try fishing again?

Mountainpaw let out another small mewl as he pressed into Gingerwing. It did hurt a little where the rock had hit, but it had mainly scared him more than hurt him. It helped him to feel better when his mentor wrapped around him and checked him over. He leaned into her flank and closed his eyes lightly and let out a heavy sigh, showing that the embarrassment was sinking in once again. He felt her chest shake a little, looking up as she bust out laughing. He let out an indignant squeak, his ears heating up and eyes going a little wide. He butted his head against her shoulder, a silent 'be quiet' in a light way. He pouted slightly and looked up to see her tilt her head towards the stream again. He nodded and butted her shoulder again before making his way back to the water, getting to the point where his paws were in the water's edge and stood there as he waited on more fish to swim up once again, crouching as he waited, his fluffy tail winding once again, moving almost like the river flowed as he watched the water at his paws run by. He wans't as patient this time but that didn't seem to matter, as he quickly lashed out his paw once he focused on his target and scooped out another fish, digging his claws into it this time and managing to grip it in a way that he could deal a bite and kill it quickly.

Gingerwing watched him affectionately after he butted his head into his shoulder and went to the river. She noticed with pride that this time his catch was very clean and graceful. Once he was done she bounded over and nuzzled him. Maybe it was because she felt such a strong connection to him, but seeing him succeed after trying so hard just overwhelmed her with pride.
Glancing up at the sky, she saw that the sun was beginning its decent. Though they still had lots of time to train, she figured that he deserved some rest, especially after all the work he had done. She stepped away and got her catch and Mountainpaw's first one in her mouth to carry, and flicked her tail towards the direction of camp.

Mountainpaw looked up quickly in hopes to see Gingerwing's reaction to his catch with little to a heart between the kill and him looking back. Seeing the absolute pride and how happy she looked for him, Mountainpaw was filled with such happiness and felt so good about this catch that a small 'mrrow' escaped past the loud purr that rumbled in his chest. He bounced around a bit, "That was awesome! Thanks so much, I can do it now!" he chirped happily, leaping to her side, he giggled as Gingerwind butted him, returning the affection and nuzzling the stop of her head. After she stepped away, Mountainpaw hummed in thought while he picked up the fish as well. He knew what she meant, but something had clicked in his head that she might not be so easy to understand from other cats. Maybe he could think of a way... He shook his head a bit, deciding that he would think more on this later when they were back in camp and had full bellies again.

Gingerwing purred at his happy reaction. Once the two of them were ready to head back, she began retracing the path they had taken to get there. She went slower this time, padding beside her apprentice, and imagined the day when he would be the same size as her; probably even bigger. She could just imagine his apprentice ceremony, and the unbearable pride she would feel that day. Shaking her head as if to clear her thoughts, she smiled. There were still three more moons until that day arrived. She glanced down at Mountainpaw beside her. No need to take it fast.
Once they arrived at camp, Gingerwing headed towards the fresh-kill pile and deposited their prey. She looked over at the young tom and flicked her tail towards the fresh-kill pile, then the nursery and elder's den, signalling that she wanted him to make sure they had enough prey before he could eat. Then she settled down beside the pile, paws tucked under her chest, and picked out a water vole. But she didn't eat it yet; she'd wait for her apprentice to return.

Mountainpaw stood tall, trying to seem as big as Gingerwing herself. He was nearly there if he stretched hard enough, but he knew that he was still too young to be as big as her. He gripped his fish carefully, not wanting to damage it more past the claw holes on the side or the killing bite. he wanted to bring it back to the nursery personally. He loved sharing with the queens and kits. He had time to look around this time on the trek back to camp, giving the apprentice sime to learn his surroundings past the frantic hurried steps he had earlier just trying to keep up with his experienced mentor. He looked up at her, seeing the far away look in her eyes and began wondering what she was thinking about. Later on, she looked down at him and he could feel the warmness and pride in her gaze, causing a small purr to come from the ginger and white tom.
When they made it into the camp, he nuzzled his mentor's shoulder before bounding off to the nursey without having to be told. He knew they rules anyways, knowing they needed to be fed before him or any warrior. He spent a little time in there, talking happily with the kits before he rejoined the camp, seeing Gingerwing waiting on him, he bounced back over and picked out a good fish before settling in next to her and pressing onto her side and leaning against her some.

Gingerwing purred at his return, letting him lean into her. She took a bite out of her water vole, savoring the delicious flavors that flooded out. Fish was the most common type of prey in CreekClan, while water vole was one of the rarest. Unfortunately, that just so happened to be her favorite; well, that just meant she loved it all the more when she could get it.
She finished her prey quickly and glanced up at the sky. The clouds were starting to get a pink tint to them; the days were short this time of the year. The ginger-and-white she-cat figured she'd give Mountainpaw the rest of the day off since he had worked so hard. Sighing and resting her head on her paws, she closed her eyes. She felt tired as well. Social interactions tended to take a lot out of her. She decided she'd get a little rest until her apprentice was done eating.

Mountainpaw was fully aware of how rare rodents like water vole could be and he loved them, but he always figured other cats that worked and did better than him would enjoy them so much more. Like Gingerwing. He more often took plain fish over something like a vole because he enjoyed seeing when they enjoyed the good prey, that peaceful and happy expression, Mountainpaw worked hard so she could have that look. He bent his head down and ate the fish gladly, flicking scales from his whiskers every so often, he watched as Gingerwing laid her head down. He ate slower just so he made sure that she could rest after working so hard to teach him today without interruption.
When he finished, he leaned and rested his head atop his mentor's, a purr coming from his throat. "You tired?" he asked curiously, "We're done today right? you can go sleep if you like" he murmured, his fluffy tail overturning a fallen leaf as he wove it around on the ground.

Gingerwing was on the verge of dozing off when she heard Mountainpaw's voice. She nodded slightly, being sure not to disturb him since his head was resting atop hers. She was aware that she should probably get up to sleep in her den, since sleeping on the ground beside the fresh-kill pile probably wouldn't look so good. She gently nudged her apprentice away and got to her feet. She gave her apprentice a sleepy smile and grazed her tail along his flank, eyeing him affectionately. After a moment she turned and returned to her den, already thinking about what she'd teach him the next day.

~~~~~~~~~~
As pale dawn light reflected from the snow made its way into the warriors den, Gingerwing stirred from her sleep. With a grunt she stood, and arched her back in a stretch. She then padded outside, seeing that most warriors were already up. She padded over to the apprentice den, where - not surprisingly - most apprentices were still sleeping, trying to get as much as they could before their mentors woke them. Carefully weaving her way around the sleeping bodies, she made her way to Mountainpaw's nest, and gently nudged him awake.
Mountainpaw had been sleeping soundly in the moss bedding, his paws twitching as he dreamt of chasing a vole through the cattails and long grasses to bring back to Gingerwing. As he pounced, Gingerwing in the waking world was nudging him. He jumped a little in response to dream mixed with waking, he looked around blearly before his gaze rested on the dappled ginger and white she-cat, a sleepy purr escaping. "morninmum..." the apprentice muttered sleeping, a large yawn escaping him as he stretched out his paws, rolling on his back for a moment, his eyes slipping back shut for a few heartbeats.
Gingerwing purred affectionately at the sleepy tom, helping nudge him to his feet. She stood beside him so he could use her as support, and gently led him out of the apprentice den. She looked around and then headed towards the fresh-kill pile, intent on getting some food into her apprentice so he could hopefully wake up better. Once there, she picked out a couple things - one of the minnows they had caught the day before, as well as a larger fish -  and tossed one over to Mountainpaw to eat. As she settled down to dig in, she went through a list in her mind to think up what they would work on training today.
Mountainpaw leaned against Gingerwing as she got him to his feet, his paws dragging and accidently stepping on an apprentice's tail, but not hard enough to wake them up. When they walked out into the morning light, the young tom blinked hard and buried his face into his mentor's fur to shield his eyes some as they walked to the fresh-kill pile. He let her pick out their morning meal and went to settle in their normal spot. Noticing this was a fish that he had caught yesterday, Mountainpaw looked up at Gingerwing and purred. "You picked this on purpose" he murmuted softly, sounding amused past the sleepyness.
small> (Ginger pssst he mumbled and called you mom last reply! xD)
(OML I DIDN'T EVEN NOTICE THAT <33)
Gingerwing purred in response, drawing her tail along the tom's flank. It was true that she picked out the minnow he had caught the other day on purpose, but she just wanted him to feel proud of what he did for the clan. She quickly finished the fish that she had picked out and waited for the sleepy tom to finish his. While she was waiting she decided to let him know what they'd be doing that day. Standing up, she reared up on her hind legs and made swiping motions with her front paws, claws unsheathed. She went back down on all fours and cocked her head at her apprentice, wondering if he had understood - but feeling confident that he had.
*Peeks in after so long of not replying* ))
Mountainpaw ate his fish rather quickly, purring slightly at the affections that Gingerwing showed, pushing away the bones when he was finished and stood as she did, stretching his body out with a soft 'mrrrrow' before opening his eyes once again and looking up at the other ginger cat once again, seeing her motions, he smiled and nodded. "Alright. Sounds good to me!" he chirped. He enjoyed battle training. It was a nice way for him to get out some energy instead of having the urge to just dash off al the time.
