Wow...that's gorgeous! The colors are bright and beautiful and it reminds me of kind of a quirky 70s look. I love what you've done with these maps. So interesting, so original. When I saw your name, I thought it was a reference to "Maps" by the Yeah Yeah Yeahs. lol.
Beautiful, and wonderful. I might have to buy one. Probably this one, if I do. I love the way the river runs through it, and breaks things up with this loose, curling ribbon of negative space. It makes for really great composition.
So, yes, I love this. Love the idea, love the execution. The only thing I might change is adding a little more negative space (though it might not fit, so, maybe not) and maybe change the black pieces to a lighter color. They seem to dark and cool for the color scheme.
