I think it's my first time doing a pencil background.
So even if this doesn't win in the contest or anything. I still loved working on it. Really missed doing stuff like this.
There will be a second half of Robotropolis in 'spring'.

A lovely composition and an absolutely adorable scene! Your pencil work is something else; I love seeing an artist's pencil because they're the best display of skill. I think that's just me, though.
Also, is Antoine dreaming about butter and snails?! LOL! Awww, that's a cute, clever little touch. All of the characters look fantastic in your style.

Also, I do love pencils a lot too, often more than inked and colored pics. And rough sketches that look awesome are the best for me. X3

Awesome job. This picture has a life of it's own. I love the little details you put in there and the poses are so comfortable. The background also captures the moment very well. Great job.

Yeah, I just kept adding things and elements to it. I wanted it to be fun to look at all over the place. Also a self-challenge to do small details and a landscape background after failing to do it digitally.

Bah, connection dropped last night before I could hit send and lost my comment. DX
Posing was boring for me and I wanted to give the image a very obvious -spring- feel so anyone could tell what season it was from the image. Color would be all bright and nice too. I also wanted them to somehow show their personalities from the show and hopefully that be different from the comics. Like Tails being all cute and adorable and Antoine being the comedy guy (I sort of over did it with him, there's 3 funny things happening with him)
Can you guess what he's dreaming?
And Dulcy...I wanted to get Dulcy in there too because I do love her, she being a dragons and them being awesome and all that, but how to fit HUGE Dulcy in such a cramped space? Pulled off an EndGame cover there.
Oh, did you see the hover pods coming in the distance? I really just filled this thing with a bit of everything.
Hopefully I can balance the Robotropolis half to also have as many things, but that one's felt harder...
