Description
Sunset on the ruins of Gondolin.(The lonely gate on the hill I once saw in a dream. Now, I thought it could be a good depiction of the memory of Gondolin, its beauty, its music, its people...)
Watercolor on paper, 2019

I like this a lot!
I also reminds me of a poem I once wrote about Gondolin, on a similar theme:

Wow thank you for sharing it!!!
"Below lie the bones of Turgon the King,
who would do all to reach Tirion except leave Gondolin."
What a touching phrase, very thought-provoking! I love it, thank you for writing it and sharing it with us! <3

What a beautiful poem! "From nowhere to nowhere for no one to pass" - this is exactly how I felt about this door And the refrain is so true and bitter.
Thank you, dear friend!
