Just about a month ago I was browsing DA and I came across some awesome digital artworks. I've never taken any lessons unless you count those in high school, but in the end I chose Science over Art because... well, I dunno, maybe something to do with my chinese upbringing.

So anyway, while browsing I was inspired to try my hand with PS/Painter using some of the excellent tutorials found here in DA, but seeing's as I don't own a tablet I had a hard time with my mouse.

I had to get rid of my drawing bug, so I rummaged around and found my pencils and sketchbook and did a quick study of (female) eyes and light sources. I like eyes a lot, but previous work centred around animal portraits and their eyes. I might upload some later.
