Description
My mate Charlie dropping a cliff... fist sports photography with the new cam! I like how the sun lights up the snow from behind the cliff!*EDIT* In V6 of dA my photos are coming up normally, so I swapped the file for this one (the same file!) and it is so much better! *EDIT*
WHY DO MY PHOTOS LOOK SO MUCH DULLER AND LESS SATURATED ON HERE!???
Click download and you will see the difference! How frustrating!

Wooo, really good action shot!
Are you using AdobeRGB maybe? I heard some people have problems with that vs sRGB color space.
I also have the forced desaturation problem, but it is when converting raw to jpeg so I see it on my screen right away. Not sure what dA does to photos though :/

Yeah thanks, I am using AdobeRGB but I think i figured out the problem... I was uploading the original sized files, so when I chose which size to display them in dA, they would get downsampled. So I used Aperture 2's export presets like to fit within 1024 X 1024 px and then once uploaded, I just chose original size for the full view and my problem was solved!
Cheers for your comment!

Great shot indeed. About the saturation, I see what you mean now! I do have a huge difference too... Tried on FF and IE, and got the same issue. If the size of the file you uploaded is the same here, it cannot be because of Deviantart then.. I guess it comes from web browsers..

Yeah im not sure! If you look at the download file its all good, so the file is fine! I may try uploading using FF or something...
