I probably wont do exakt as you sugest, but I do as alwase, take a little frome those totorials I find good ^^

to be honest, you shouldn't teach people how to do things 'line by line', because they won't learn anything aside from mindless copying. you should show them how the head is build, how perspective works etc, because know it won't teach anyone anything.

Sorry but I disagree with you. Im a visual learner. So seeing something line by line helps me (and im sure people like me) understand how to go about drawing something similar to this drawing.
After learning how to go about drawing a specific pose then I totally think people should personalize their own artwork.
Also I don't agree that it is "mindless copying" you have to focus on each line to make it right. 99.99% people can't just put a few lines on a page and it look perfect everytime.

you might disagree, but you see, I have many years of experience in learning and creating art, and I know that if you really want to KNOW how to draw, to HAVE TO learn about the fundamentals - how things are build, how they react with light ext. without this knowledge you won't go any further in art. every skilled person will tell you this.

Sorry but I must disagree with that last statement you made. "every skilled person will tell you this" part since I have several very very talented skilled friends that they actually began drawing and learning through line by line tutorials. Now will most skilled people tell me what you said. Most likely but not every one of them.

lol. I don't know if you looked at my gallery or not, but I looked at yours, and well, if people with your opinion draw like you do, then it only prooves I am right.
as I said, you may *have* different opinion, but don't argue with someone who's been drawing professionally for many years.

I looked at yours..You have a couple pieces that are yes pretty amazing but most of it I have seen a lot of very similar art and its not impressive. My friends are much better then I am. I have no skill and I really dont have the chance to work on it.
Yeah we have very different opinions. I think people should be able to learn how they learn best. Without others telling them its wrong.
Just because you have been drawing professionally for MANY years doesn't mean you are still good. Or right about how people should learn.

not really much of a tutorial imo, more of a "how I draw things" step-by-step. You're not covering the basic frameworks for the faces and I think ametures are going to struggle to replicate this if they try to use this tutorial.

I used your YT vid to start a sketch of my wife and I kissing as a birthday present... which I will upload to DA tomorrow after she's unwrapped it.
I think this version is even more useful and easier to follow than the vid, which is saying something. Rock on!
