hello there !i made this sometime ago, i always like to draw asian looking stuff, people, creatures heh, was trying with a shaolin priest in some peaceful warm environment, i enjoyed to paint this piece, was for fun and relaxation.Done in painter 7 with a touch of photoshop of course. oh yeah the name Shao-leen is written that way on purpose, its not a typo , sort of like a name or something heh bits me.

Wooooe! This is so awesome. It's lovely, how you drew it. and the colors are so beautifully done and everything looks so real, like you could almost reach out and touch it. I also like the stance the character holds. It makes me think of someone serious and alert, waiting to be attacked by other.

Rather than feeling serene I think he ended up looking more badass. His face kinda looks intense and determined but still at peace. The painting is done so smoothly that I can't tell what was done on photoshop and what was done in painter 7.

Silvarith - well i guess it would be kinda hard to explain how i made this piece , main painting was done in painter mostly wih airbrush tool, details in photoshop
theres a simple tutorial on my website under How I Work section u can check it out if things get more clear for u.THe tutorial is kinda old , but u can see of where i started though.

amazing. I think total master, like the kind that could cut you in half with his sleeves. Also the light background makes him seem darker and more dangerous

you are absolutly mazingly talented.. from just the few pieces you have in your gallery, i was blown away.. this piece in particular really drew me in, the colors and soft golden tones, the details and shadows are incredible. the latge medallion, and the swords handle are so detailed its stunning.. i was wondering about the red jewl hanging around his neck though, it loks so much more.. "drawn" and not so much detailed and crisp in comparrison with the other things surrounding. was that done on purpose?
anyways, i love the stray leaves and soft faded background, and again the colors are lovely.. i can just imagine a gorgeous sunset off to the side where we cant see.. and i too love artwork depecting asian themes. theres something so honorable and rich about them.. really great work here..
