Description
Mandelbulb 3D v1.69.6DEcombinate using:
MengerKochV2/ABox/FoldingIntPow/_SinY
My 1st successful effort using the new DEcombinate feature
in the latest version of M3D [link]
An excellent new feature, with huge potential, but can result in very long render times. Patience definitely required!
Fullview please....

Very cool, that DE Combine feature rocks, don't it! I haven't played with it enough apparently. Great persistence!

Thanks Michael!
Yeah, the possibilities are mind-boggling!
But the render times are a bit daunting though!

I noticed that too, even in preview mode. You also have to watch your formulas because if you have them wrong, the whole thing freezes up on render or 3d nav.

Cheers Jim!
Was a bit of a dark one, and needed a fair bit of cajoling to get acceptably ambient.
The pillar junctures were just crying out for pos lights!

SOmethinbg is very attracting and attractive about it. I like it very much. I even get a sense of motion. Bravo.

The orange 'neon' hints do, I think, give
a certain dynamic to the thing Gary,
which I guess could suggest motion?
Cheers mate!

Personally, I find 'Mark' a great burden
as a forename, I mean you can't really
get a decent nickname from it, can you?
Certainly not in english anyway!
....or can you?

friedinsanity In reply to MarkJayBee [2011-04-02 22:35:32 +0000 UTC]
Hmm, you cant really.
People called me Sparky Mark for a while but that name gradually sunk into some kind of abyss of unimpressive nicknames and I was left as a mere Mark.
Most people call me by my surname now for some reason.
