And yet to say Michael Bay's movies are not related at all to Transformers when they have Optimus Prime being voiced by Peter Cullen, Megatron being disappointed with Starscream, more obscure characters from comics like The Fallen, and a plot lifted straight from a GEEWUN episode isn't stupid?

To be fair every series differs from each other each wanting a different take on the franchise (with varying levels of success) with all that said I'd like to add that I grew up watching beast Wars and the 80's transformers were fucking awesome!

Outside this overdrawn gag with Soundwave, I actually enjoyed this review. It might be a bit dated, but its still fun and that's why, at least in my mind, it still holds up.

I don't wanna discuss it, because it may turn out like it did on the forums. But if you must know, fine. When I said worst episode ever, I meant as in the worst Raiders of teh Story Ark. We got a transformers 4 audition gag that should've been its own thing, Doug doing the review as optimus prime and not as the nostalgia critic, jokes that were hit and miss, and an unforgivable five minute long gag that features Soundwave wanting his own movie. I was just dissappointed because the review was not up to my expectations. I'm glad he complimented the show, but the review itself was just so BORING!

I think the straightforward review would have been too predictable. I think Doug just wanted to surprise us. But, it's very rare that I dislike any of his reviews. I even liked... Bart's Nightmare. (Hides under desk)

I liked all his impressions this episode, not just Prime, but Starscream, Megatron, and even Victor Caroli (The Transformers narrator guy.)
I also demand a GIF of Rumble bitchslapping Spike.

I just liked that part because, as time goes on, Rumble winds up being kinda pathetic, probably because he's really short. He's not very bright, or attentive, so he tends to get humiliated quite a lot. I think the worst was the time he got turned into a tree.
