Description What if they made the Incredibles 2!?!

It would be the next flic to gross one billion dollars worldwide. Seriously!?! Think of the possibilities. They could be fighting some giant thingie and Mr. Incredible tells Jack-Jack to change to steel. Then he proceeds to throw Jack-Jack like the biggest speeding bullet ever and wham!!! Bye bye, baddie!

In all seriousness, this is my favorite by far of all the Pixar films. Peace!

I think if they made a sequel they would need to increase the size of Mrs. Incredibles booty.

dude im feeling the background makes these characters pop so much more and damn your interpritation is clearly very inspired. definetly feeling these versions more. I can see this being a spin off anime of some sort. pixar take note!

heheheheh...if only.

But now that Disney owns Marvel, they have no need for Bob and crew.

However, if they did do a second movie, I hope they'd get Mark Waid to write the script (since he's written a good portion of the comic series).

That would be very cool!!! Mr Waid is a very good writer. Oh, the possibilities.

Yes he is. Although, I have to tell you, I'm hooked on his "Irredeemable" and "Incorruptible" books. That 'verse is really screwed up and enjoyable to read (if you like dark and twisted roller-coaster rides as far as plot twists go).

Sadly, it is Mr. Waid's influence that "corrupted" my line of thinking when writing my crazy fic (well...that and White Wolf's "Aberrant" which is kind of in the same vein).

Wait a minute...who am I kidding? It's fun to write that kind of stuff (especially when taking a break from writing my original projects and work).

That seems like something I just may have to look into.

And yes it is cool to write that sort of gothicky (hmm, I wonder if thats even a word) stuff.

Yeah...the one cool thing about Mark Waid's "Irredeemable" and "Incorruptible" series is that every five issues, they usually put out a trade paperback almost a month after that fifth issue so you don't have to go back and look for the individual issues.

If you haven't read those titles yet, I will warn you...it is dark! Basically, it's kind of a "Superman snaps and goes evil", but there's more to it than that and it's kind of creepy because it goes on the premise that not every hero with powers is emotionally equipped for the job and they do have a breaking point. And it's interesting because it's not just The Plutonian who "snaps" and goes evil, but it shows how his fellow "heroes" react and what kind of lines they cross as they try to stop him.

"Incorruptible" is a spin-off that deals with The Plutonian's arch-nemesis, Max Damage who finds himself in the odd situation of being a hero. He's one of the few survivors in the city that The Plutonian destroyed (he was there at ground zero when the Plutonian just showed up and started microwaving people in the downtown area with his heat vision).

Both books are really good and I know a couple of the artists have pages here on DA.

As for "Aberrant", it's an old RPG that White Wolf Games put out in an attempt to branch out from their usual "Vampire" & "Werewolf" franchise. It was a separate universe from their "World of Darkness" products, but had it's own dark theme...basically take the world of "The Incredibles" and give it a slightly more realistic bent with a dark conspiracy behind most of the events happening with an organization quietly playing God all "for the betterment of humanity".

Who puts put the comics?

FigmentJedi In reply to Marsj [2011-02-07 05:48:04 +0000 UTC]

Boom! Studios. They got the Disney and Pixar licenses. Though Incredibles is currently on hiatus for a celebration of 70 years of the Classic Disney comics and is apparently coming back in the summer. Left it on a cliffhanger that would lead into the final battle with a large alliance of supervillains that they series was building up to the whole time.

Boo, was adorable!!! And Ratatouille I also loved.

Actually I love all of Brad Birds' films. His first was the Iron Giant before being hired by Pixar. Once there he did the Incredibles then Ratatouille.
