Since I've been asked lots of times to do tutorials.. here you have one
I hope it will help you guys somehow with digital impressionism. The program used was Photoshop CS3 Extended so the explanations are based on it. Here you have the illustration of which I've done the tutorial:

Thank you very much for this tutorial! I have always been trying to find a tutorial on painting with a sketchy feel to it, it's very difficult for someone like me who's too used to definite lines.

I teach at a high school and I do a unit on impressionism in watercolor. I think I might use this tutorial to help convert that watercolor unit into my computer graphics class. May I ask, do you use a tablet for your digital painting? Thanks!
