Since I've been asked lots of times to do tutorials.. here you have one
I hope it will help you guys somehow with digital impressionism. The program used was Photoshop CS3 Extended so the explanations are based on it. Here you have the illustration of which I've done the tutorial:

it truly was, i think i might try and do a painting this way! Love the unique and expressive style you bring to your portrait/figures. Glad to say i had the chance to speak to ya, cos you gonna be damn successful with this style in the future, you need to hit up all art magazines with your style! I always have a problem with being too tight when I paint and I think doing this method will help me loosen up a lot.

Dicen de los grandes artistas que hacen fácil lo dificil.
No es facil redibujar sobre una superficie sin tapar lo que hay.
Es un gran trabajo el que realizas.
Lo único que (desde mi punto de vista, desde el tuyo seguro que no porque es lo que buscabas) es que la mancha roja del cuello es excesivamente luminosa y hace que la cabeza no conecte con el cuerpo. No se, yo habría definido el cuello usado la mancha del pelo (definiendo un poco mas el límite pelo-cuello) o usando los colores de la cara-mandíbula para conectar con el cuerpo (esternocleidomastoideo izquierdo). Pero bueno, si yo fuera Van Gogh mis cuadros no valdrían un pimiento porque no habría talento.
No hagas caso de mis tonterías, es una obra magnífica.
