Description

Terran corvettes aren't typically built for long journeys. While their advanced drive systems can often allow for a theoretical long-distance range, the limited supplies, specialized systems, and equipment onboard make long-term assignments in deep space largely unviable. Corvettes are usually found close to their supporting base or mothership, relying on strategical command, intelligence, and maintenance from their base of operations. There are, however, exceptions to this, particularly among younger colony worlds of the Galactic League and various Terran stellar nations. With limited industrial and economical capacities, many smaller organizations and states rely on smaller vessels for the backbone of their fleets. These vessels are often optimized and equipped to an even higher standard than those of the main Terran fleets, making for excellent combatants in any allied action.
