Nice piece! You seem to have a good understanding of the light, like the artwork Lucy . You gave enough details to make the muzzle realistic. The fur is not very detailed, but that's what I like in this piece. The white spots and the black space in the right of the artwork contrast with the sunlights and give a peaceful atmosphere to this beautiful artwork.

I think that's it's body, not the tail, actually the photo ref is cropped in the same way like this pic so I'm not 100% sure myself haha

We can never be sure. Also, a little trick I used to use when I was just starting lighting was to draw a circle and that would be where the light was coming from. The bigger the circle the stronger the light source is and the more light it gives off.
