If you've played Assassin's Creed II: Discovery (for the Nintendo DS) there's a whole backstory about the Templars and the Assassins vying for bragging rights in the New World, among some other things.
The only thing about having Ezio as my background is that he can be very distracting. Not that that's a bad thing...
