Description I didnt think this photo would work when i originally took it, however, I wanted a vertical perspective of my original bridge shot, so I am presenting this one to you. I kept the colors more natural this time around instead of the purples on the first. Hope you enjoy.

I am not 100% sure if i like the color of the border... suggestions may be welcome if you think it needs to be changed. Thanks!

This as such a infinity notion that makes your eyes hurt, looks like a crazy dream, and I think the trees help with that
I could actually have a nightmare with this, maybe tonight

The perspective on this one is wonderful. I love how the bridge looks as if it goes on forever....although that gives a positive aspect to this piece, the colors add a certain wariness to it. Very well done.

I love the perspective. I feel like I want to walk to the other end of the bridge. It just pulls me in. I also love the colors and the border compliments them perfectly.

This is an awesome shot.. the colorsa, shades and the perpective are all so well caught.. and the adjustmen of light is also worth appreciation.. the bridge seems to lead to the eternity.. well done, a piece that gives me the feeling of peace..

Mashuto In reply to ShaskinTawuk [2006-05-22 16:11:06 +0000 UTC]

Thank you very much. I have a feeling I will be heading back to that bridge to capture it again, especially now that the leaves are back on the trees... If only I had a wide angle lens....

ShaskinTawuk In reply to Mashuto [2006-05-22 22:35:53 +0000 UTC]

ah i think the wiev are is allright, a wide angle lens would corrupt the angle of the picture and there fore its beauty i thnink.. and yes, a shot w,th leaves would also be worth seeing, yet it would not have the magicial aura created by sepia-monotone of the scene..

Mashuto In reply to ShaskinTawuk [2006-05-22 22:50:02 +0000 UTC]

Well I am not talking about a fisheye lens, just a wide angle, would really make the bridge seem to go on forever. However, I might do it with the leaves sort of as a series, would not have the same monotone quality, but more of a green glowing warm feeling to it.

ShaskinTawuk In reply to Mashuto [2006-05-22 23:10:52 +0000 UTC]

ah i see.. sorry for my ignorance, it's just that i am not that accustomed to photography world ... and a series would be lovely idea

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Mashuto In reply to ShaskinTawuk [2006-05-23 00:10:01 +0000 UTC]

no ignorance there, but i agree this shot wouldnt be as nice with a fisheye. I certainly might do that whenever I have the time to get back there.

Mashuto In reply to Obscurity-Doll [2006-05-22 16:16:59 +0000 UTC]

This was taken with a Canon Digital Rebel XT, or Canon 350D as it is in europe. The lens was the kit lens, 18-55mm. Thanks for asking! and thanks for the comment!

I really like the natural colors in this. I love shots like this, that show distance and a narrowing road, or in this case, bridge. I think the border looks fine, but did you try it with black too to see what it would look like? Awesome job!
