Short Description: the male is muscular like every well trained sled dog, but taller than most. With his 29 inches and his brown pelt he can easily and has often been confused for a small wolf. His pelt is double coated with a thick underfur and a long top coat to protect him from the cold winter. His fur becomes longer towards his neck, tail and cheek.
In a whole Kinak is shaped like an upright square with a average long back, a long neck and long legs which provide him with the tools to run through high snow with no problem.
His pelt is a mix of desaturated browns, saturated chocolate and light fawn. Kinaks eyes are the color of the grey winter sky.

Personality:
Kinak is due to his breed slower than most sled dogs, but he can keep up with his team. He makes up for his lack of speed with strength and stamina. On the other hand he is quite nimble and has potential to be a leader, but he prefers to follow.

The male is a very intelligent and can forecast actions based on experience. He also is a very experienced sled dog and has learned in the wild by helping his master to haul goods from Nome to surrounding towns.
In general he is a quiet companion and tends to entertain company by telling old folklore. Due to his age Kinak is often considered the grandfather of the team. He always is there for his team mates and lends a shoulder to lean on for everyone. The big dog is a prime example for the gentle giant and would never bite. He is even often said to be to lazy to run away or start a fight, but he normally is just not in the mood to fight.
Kinak is known to be a very loyal and obedient dog and most of the time his master neglects to chain him up, but the husky has never run away. He is very well trained and has been by his master side since the very beginning of his live. Because of that he often doesn't even need a sign to know what his master wants during a race.
Due to often having been confused for a wolf the husky dislikes them and any mixed pups more than most sled dogs and needs some time to like and trust one of them. Till now the only mut the sled dog has began to like is his team leader.
Though the giant is aware of his skills and the fact that his team belongs to the best of the best, he is not vein. He comes from a time where sled dogs were working dogs and mushing was only used to haul weight from one place to another. He often looks down upon racing dogs for thinking that mushing is a sport, but hides it behind his nearly bored face.

Background:
Kinak was born to a breeding pair of Labrador Huskies that was brought to Nome. After only a few months he was sold of to the musher of the Kinguyakkii where he started his training to be a sled dog. As a young adult he became the spot of a normal member in Atkas sled and accompanied the Inuit on his tribes through the dangerous wilderness of Alaska. When the musher then decided to start dog racing Kinak was promoted to the spot of a swing dog due to his long live experience and obedient nature.
Now he spends his days in front of his master cabin waiting for training and the next race.
