I've been in the community long enough to realize that despite their desperate attempt to appear to have some kind of profound connection to the natural world, they're just very human people, struggling to conform in a microcosm on the internet, mistaking sexual frustration and social awkwardness for something somehow deeper, while systematically cheapening their entire concept with characters strongly sexualized but weakly developed or portrayed as a bright-eyed mascot for the purpose of chasing down photographers at hotels to seek the attention they could never get through legitimate ability.
