I regret not seeing this in person at D*C. Looks really good, and the foam work looks really clean.

Well I'm bringing her back along with a General Zod this year! We're planning on it being our Saturday set. So let me know and we can totally chill.

this is so impressive! I am working on building a faora costume myself. You did such a fantastic job. Did you use templates or did you draw up your own?

Thank you so much! I hand drew all of my templates. My entire build and the progress is listed on the RPF forums. My next one is her ceremonial armor from the prologue. I should also have a new version of this suit before September Going to use new materials.

Unfortunately no. Although I am excited for my screen accurate patterned suit I'm getting for christmas lol. Thank you so much for the love.

I see, great suit though. I'm racking my brain trying to figure out how I'd make a Zod body suit. Trying to find a patterned lycra fabric or something... I may have to just get someone to design a Dye Sub pattern and have it printed out. I'd really like to rock a Zod body suit and walk like strutting Leo.

I'm going to be making a Zod for this upcoming Dragoncon for my best friend so we can try to wreck the place together lol. I can give you the contact for my undersuit if you like. They are dye subs.

That's awesome, do they do the sew up too? or do they just send you the printed pieces. I'm not confident in sewing together lycra.

When it comes to undersuits, it's best if I order mine or commission them lmao! I'm better with armor!

great work! it turned out looking amazing! Β what materials did you use?

Master-of-Unlocking In reply to Thatguygeno [2013-09-10 06:01:40 +0000 UTC]

1/4 in EVA foam and patience... since I seem to be the only one willing to make templates for her armor lol.

I bet patience was a big part of getting all that detail in there. Β was it just spray paint to give it that glossyness or did you put some resin on it?

after the foam was sealed I sprayed it with a hammered iron paint. it surprised me on how well it looks. Up close and in-person is even better.
