Background: She grew up with her dad, uncle and older brother. Her mother (uncles sister) died giving birth to her. When she was very young her uncles village was attacked and his wife and kids were killed so he came to live with Shinzu and her family. As they got older Shinzu and her brother were taught how to fight, often pitted against each other. Her father took her brother on as a pupil. Shinzu was trained by her Uncle. In time Shinzu and her brothers became rivals, often sparring with each other and learning from each other. When she was old enough her wings grew in size and Shinzu’s uncle taught her how to fly. After a while she learned how to work flight into her uncles lessons. When Shinzu was twenty, their village was attacked. Her father and uncle were both killed. Distraught with grief and against her brothers’s advice she tracked down her uncle and fathers killer and went after them. Her training was far from done and she was quickly beaten and held captive. That night her brother came to the campsite and freed her. Without a home to go back to they set out on a journey to find a new home. They sparred and trained every day. Eventually they came across the eight gangs and the tournament. Seeing Crimson Blade as a fitting place they settled in that region and enlisted in the tournaments.

Other: Shinzu has swords that were her uncles but she doesn’t use them in the tournaments.
