What if Kiara is exiled with Kovu

(Simba ignores Mufasa)

Simba believing that exiling Kovu is not enough makes the decision to go hunt down Kovu and kill him. Later along the way, Mufasa appears and tries to stop Simba.

MUFASA: Simba, what you are doing is wrong and it needs to stop, now!

SIMBA: (still angry) I don’t care! You need to leave me alone and stay out of my business and life! Kovu deserves to die! And I’m not letting Kovu anywhere near Kiara! He used her to get to me! I don’t need you telling me what I can’t do! I know Kovu is following in Scar’s paw prints! And I must follow in yours!

MUFASA: (appalled) You will never be me! I’m ashamed of you! You turned your back on everything I taught you when you were a Cub! And now you also turned your back on all the important things and good things you taught your children when they were Cubs themselves!

SIMBA: I’m not going to listen to you anymore!

After Simba turns and leaves to head for the Tree of Life, Mufasa has an idea.

MUFASA: (to himself) I may not be able to warn Simba. But I can however warn Kopa, Kiara, Kion, Kovu, and Vitani about the danger they are in from Simba while bringing in Simba’s young adult self to stop him and do what current Simba is not doing anymore.

With that, Mufasa disappears into the clouds.
