Description
It's a strange timeline, this world. One where Meggy would lose the Final Splatfest, and spiral into a sorry state. Days spent vegging out on the couch, chomping on Pizza and watching daytime TV, has made Meggy quite fat. Her old friends had spent an entire year to track her down, and they found a rotund, depressed drifter in her place. You know it's bad when even MARIO is advocating getting her back in shape, even if his methods are...unusual.
Merio: Alrighty! Get ready to move your p-
Meggy: [huff] [huff] M-Mario...c-can we take a break?
Merio: ...We just-a started.
Meggy: I KNOW! [huff] I'm just...not in shape.
Merio: Not to worry, Meggy. Mario's gonna get-a you back in shape! The easy way. [brandishes axe] Or the hard way!
Meggy: [panics slightly] Mario! Whatever you got planned, it ain't worth it!
Merio: [face drops, as does his axe] The-a Meggy I know would have-a jump kicked that outta my hands...
Meggy: Mario...I'm NOT the Meggy you know. She...went away, after she lost Finalfest. I know you wanna do well...for once. But, I don't wanna try anymore. I failed. I let Desti down. I let everyone down!
Merio: Well, Mario's not gonna let-a YOU down! Hmm...[digs a slice of pizza out of his pocket. Don't ask] Would you do it for-a Meggy Snack?
Meggy: Mario, please, I'm not gonna be swayed by fo-waitisthatpepperoniandgarlic?
Merio: Why not-a catch me and find out? Or Mario's gonna have himself a mini pizza party! [sprints off into the distance] Weeheeeeeeeee!
Meggy: Ahh, my weakness...GET BACK HERE! [starts jogging after him]

Okay no more Meggy for a while, I promise. Someone on Twitter suggested I make this, and...well, I did! Hope you enjoy it! Might make some new Bios for the new characters, now.

Well, fair enough. But Meggy is also the only person SMG4!Mario really cares for, at least consistently. I feel she would be the only one he would actually get up off his ass for and exercise with. For like...six seconds, he's still SMG4!Mario, but still.

If anything, I can see Mario tempting Meggy to try Spaghetti for the first time with Luigi warning her not to do it.

This is quite ironic since Mario is the LAST person to make someone let alone himself exercise.
Mario: two reasons, 1 is that Mario wants to bring back the old meggy. B is that there can only be one Mario like Mario(me).

In this timeline, her opponent exploits her new human physique and stomps on her leg in the middle of a match, breaking it. This knocks her out of the contest, getting her team disqualified, and the opponent gets away with it.

I hope SMG4 never reads this. It might give him some ideas. Then again, SMG4 characters can take a lot of physical abuse. Mario lost his head a few times already.
That "exploiting the human physique" plan sounds like a good one, especially when the whole team is human.
Imagine if Meggy's team wins in the movie with the huge disadvantage. That would be quite the upset.

TBH, I would LOVE it is SMG4 took inspiration from some of my works. XD But I get he has his own ideas and the like, so I, not too bothered.
Considering it's only recently that humans have partaken in the tournament, I doubt there are specific rules against it, so they COULD get away with it. Hard to tell.
I'm expecting it to be that, really. She either wins or loses but it's okay because fwiends. I don't want to just cynically guess the ending, but...it can only go two ways.
