Description Sunset Lagoon - Draft 2
Okay, I really don't know what's going on with the submission system but this is the third time I have put this thing up. I submitted it Thursday, then tried to edit it Friday and ended up resubmitting it. It was fine when I left work, but when I logged on Saturday to check my comments the pic was gone *sigh*

Oh well, as I said before I don't really want the hills to look realistic oin this (though they do still need some work). Experimenting with underwater vegetation texturing here as well as different atmosphere settings. The only post processing in this is to clear a few black blocks that appeared while rendering (no clue why it does this).

Work to do in next revision:
1: Revamp sandy shoreline, remove from steep inclines
2: Deepen textures on hills
3: Texture hills and work on shape

Comments and suggestions welcome, if you commented or faved this last time, sorry guys. Not my fault.

My only suggestion is to bring down the overall brightness and add more contrast. Also you missed a few black spots... the new version of Terragen shouldn't do that

The stuff you said you wanted to do should make this a lot better - I'll be waiting on your next version

Great scene. The water seems a bit hard though. Still nice work!

The ray work is nice but i find the head on look a little overpaowering . perhaps lowering them to face the land more? still it s snice render..

This is very cool work, I could never figure Terragen or whatever it was called out all too well.

don't know really what has changed - think the atmo is a bit more intense - however a nice piece of TG art

The ladnscape is drastically different (compare the first here [link] and the new ones here [link] )

About 1 hour worth of texturing work, the sun is centered instead of to the side (though I liked it the other way better I think) and the underwater vegetation is much thicker this time around. I also modified the terrain, but I think I am going to import it into World Machine to see about getting some erosion on it.

Thanks for the comment dude, l9terzzz

Hey, thanks man. Always great to hear when somebody isn't usually into what I do but something caught their eye you know? Thanks for the compliment though mate. Most of my 3D stuff is landscapes but when I get a better PC I will be moving more into 3D models and such (Vue, 3dSMax, etc.)

Great job so far. You may want to move the sun left or right so that it's one thrid of the page in. I don't know why, but the setting major objects a third of the page in can make the total thing look better. Just a thought.
