Why was I left behind?
Tears make my already empty heart
Feel like beating is no longer worth it...
Some days I can take on the world
Each new accomplishment is hung with thin strands of faith -- to only collect dust
Where did my determination go?
Who is left to "make proud"?
Will I be an inspiration to people feeling worthless and give them hope and a new purpose?
Or will I only become another fading memory waiting to bite the dust?
