It's been such a hard time with you goneMy body, mind, heart and soul are so exhausted
Despite the trials I'm facing I will make it,
For I promised you I would be okay.
Though my body and mind are aching to collapse
And meet their final fall and give way to death
My heart and soul refuse to give up.
I'll make it through these hardships and reunite with you
Come Hell or high water, I will make it to the end.
With your time here on Earth, you spent it wisely
Helping others and me, no matter the cost.
I'll return the favor and make it through
You were the best teacher one could have
And I won't let your lessons be taught in vain.
I'll make it, no matter what.
I promise.
