Occupation: Mary Mint is a fitness instructor; because exercise brings joy to her life she wants to spread that merriment (haha get it) to everypony and help them take better care of their bodies.

Personality: As your average pegasi, Mary Mint has that go, go, go! mentality. It can be seen most prominently in her work as a fitness instructor but also when she's exercising by herself. Despite her desire for progress, she's friendly and a charm for anyone to hang around. She's not only an encouraging instructor but a helpful friend to those she cares about and will lend a hoof any time somepony needs it as well. When she isn't working or exercising, she's actually quite the opposite and likes to chill out and bake some delicious goodies as she sings her favorite songs! There's only one thing that Mary hates, and that's sadness. If she sees somepony stuck in a gloom, she will do whatever it takes to turn their frown upside down!

History: Mary grew up as your normal pegasi in Cloudsdale. It wasn't long until she found her love for fitness in filly flight school. She was a natural at it and found it even more pleasing to help those around her. However, because most pegasi were naturally very athletic, when Mary grew old enough to leave home, she felt lead to live on the ground and help those who weren't as naturally gifted with the art of exercise as herself and thus moved to Dappleton. Once there, she started her own business. It was a rough beginning, but soon she had ponies from all over town coming to her for advice and using her gym as a place to regularly get their exercise!
