Please don't add light/shade to a minimalistic wallpaper. It kinda negates the idea.

Well, I see it differently. Don't get me wrong, but I see it as an open style, so I can't see what's "wrong" with adding some shades, lights, details and things like that.
I usually don't like the shades and lights, but in this case the image was so simple that the flat design and colors won't create itself, you know? The gradients add a little of texture and the little lights creates the effects of dimension, which didn't exist before they were add.
Minimalist not always need to be flat, in my opinion It's just the case of working it well so you don't loose style!
