this is a color guide for my anime/manga painting. the outline is digicam and color with painter8. will use this as a guide to color it traditional way =.=will post the actual painting up when i finish.

the clouds are okay... try using a lighter and yellower colour for the sunlight reflection on rei. This way she won't blend into the background.
As for Rei's body form it isn't such a big deal (especially if you're going for something closer to realism) but you might wanna try drawing her with a slimmer profile... narrow cheekbones, long slim neck, small thin shoulders, tiny waist <--- i think this is the image everyone has of her.

Hmm....tone down the yellowish tone of the clouds, perhaps? It seems to be more....i donno....makes the girls head a bit sunk to the back.

More like...the viewer's eyes seems to focus on the clouds more than the head. It's not exactly the real aim of the painting right?! Ganbatte yo~~!!!

urm, ah...yes ma'am. using mainly arcrylic and poster with airbrush. maybe color pencil for some outline.

rei is a very thin little girl... so... should make her cheeks a bit thin....
