lol that was so long ago... google for "explorer folder background". for folder icons you can just right-click > properties > customize > "change icon"

Man I really appreciate how you do this. It seriously enhances my work day to have fun 'artful' icons.
Its like it's a treat to browse for something or to get a new program or folder because I got to choose a cool icon.

I'm using windows.
On a mac you can use Candybar, or just change the icons of the individual apps manuually.
