Description
So... I've realized that my style and approach to making art has changed rather rapidly in the last few months. Even in the three months since I first created the old version of this, it has evolved. I have learned and discovered a lot about Photoshop in this time, especially about lighting and layers.So, I've decided to touch up this old (three months old) pic in, what I will call, my new style. The hair is much more realistic, the shadows are much deeper and more colorful, and the light is more brilliant. Tell me what you think

Nice! The shading is much better than the original.
However, I feel as if her neck is a bit too thin compared to her head. Also, I think her face is a little too pointed at the bottom.
But overall, I really like this! The hair is done very well!

Ehhh, maybe.... it would have been very awkward though. I kinda like the way it turned out. The confrontation with Azula and Ty Lee, and how it affected Azula later.

I'm not a fan of Mai (or MaiKo, for that matter) but this is very well drawn! It's a major improvement from the old one. The old one has more of a cartoony look, while this feels more realistic. So they're both fine in their own way, but I like this one better.

I've never been a fan of Mai (she's too depressing [my friends say she reminds them of me >.<] and kinda bland), but this was her best moment in the series. She saved Zuko's (my favorite character

I'm not a huge Mai fan either. But I thrive on fantastic story telling, and this scene adds so much depth to both her and Zuko and their relationship. I've grown to respect her as a character, even if I'm not very partial towards her attitude.

lol, no, she's annoying. I love Azula though. She's awesome, pissing off Zuko and stuff ^^ but my absoulute favorite is Iroh. I love my uncle
