As I mentioned before, the moon stone fragment I wear in my Lycanroc form has an adverse effect on me. It functions as an external (and uncontrollable) growth trigger when exposed to the light of the moon, particularly when it's full. I won't get into the details of how artificial moonlight (whether machine generated or from the attack) can trigger it, or how close the moon is to earth/lunar eclipses affect how big I get, so I'll just cut to the chase.

Long story short: Super moon+Lunar Eclipse+blue moon (second full moon in a month)=one massive midnight lycanroc. The light from the combination of the lunar events triggered a growth spurt that sent me skyrocketing into the stratosphere and right into space. I avoided smacking the moon, thank goodness.

I just wanted to see and enjoy the super blue blood moon, not get supersized from it. This is the one time I DIDN'T want to do this. I can't really enjoy this event when I'm so big I can hold the lunar ball in hand with ease. Some "super" moon.

And for those who weren't able to see it that day, I apologize, for obscuring your view of this super moon, and giving you a view of a "different" super moon.
