Description
Having done similar drawings using comic-style characters, I wanted to try doing a digital painting of a paleo subject. In this case, I picked my favorite little aye-aye dinosaur, Epidendrosaurus. At less than 6 inches long, it's the smallest dinosaur, though it might be a juvenile. It's sitting on a mossy ginkgo branch, a modern tree whose realtives would have housed these little scansors.Related content

Great shading and coloring by the way ^^ Looks like you did a minimal painting job and somehow made it look spectacular...

I want him as my pet! Like the style, comic bookish is always good.

They were described in 2002, but the buzz was on the indicator a few years prior to that (I think I have a sketch based on word of mouth from like 1999 or earlier!). They're from Liaoning, China. I wrote a wikipedia article about them if you want some more info [link]

Ah, so they were among the chinese dinobirds...
And I took the liberty of correcting the translation...
"Epidendros" means "upon (a) tree"
