Description
This piece started out much more lighthearted than the final product you see now. Originally there was a lot of blue and sparklies but somewhere along the line I must have gotten angry and turned it into a dark subliminal Diablo piece.Oh well.
The smoke inside the eye and the scar probably took the longest. I didn't mean to spend more than 30 minutes or so on this and I ended up working for a little over an hour.

i would recommend adding more shadow, particularly under the upper lid to get rid of that "raised" feeling youre talking about.
