Your first Godzilla film has Godzilla vs. Hedorah? My first one was Godzilla vs. Megaguirus. It's OK, I'm not judging you or anything.

Megaguirus is a good one! I had to start somewhere, I guess. I'm just glad the dancing, fish headed people didn't scare me away.

In fact, "Godzilla vs. Megaguirus" is the only Godzilla film in the Millennium series I've seen so far. But it's nice that you started out with the Showa series, because that's when a few interesting kaiju flicks came out.

Thanks! Yeah, I don't know why it didn't scare me as much as the numerous other things that terrified me back then. I think it bothers me more now than it did then

I remember being really excited about watching it when I rented it from Blockbuster, they had a bunch of Godzilla movies that I rented quite a bit. Then I watched it, and then I had trouble sleeping for a while. And now a copy of it sits around my other Godzilla DVDs waiting to be watched again...

I remember going to Blockbuster to rent Godzilla movies and being super excited. It was pretty much the only place I could find Godzilla movies in my home town when I was a kid. Good times
