Not really a tutorial, but I suck at that kind of stuff.
And I did more of a face study kind of tutorial because I don’t want anyone to think that you have to copy Kishimoto’s style to make Naruto characters look like themselves. Kishimoto is one of those manga artists that gave each of his characters unique characteristics, and that’s one of the funnest things about doing Naruto fanart. You can draw in your own style, and if you add that unique facial feature the character has, it will still look a lot like who you’re trying to draw (of course there’s stuff like unique hairstyles and whatnot, but, you know, if the face doesn’t look right, it just looks like a cosplayer XP)
I love Hidan’s eyes. I was looking up different types of eyes and apparantly Hidan’s eye shape is referred to as “sexy bedroom eyes.” ROOOoooooOOOoooflwaffles.
…and while drawing this, my cousin and I concluded that Hidan was the offspring of Seifer and Fujin from FFVIII. XD

Yeah, me too! I could never get a good reference because in the manga his eyes are either bugging out or they're in this half-lidded lazy stare XD
A widow's peak is when the hairline makes a V shape to the center of your head. A good example is everyones classic portrayal of Satan: slicked back black hair with a widow's peak and a goatie. The classic vampire hair also usually has a widow's peak.

the great rules in drawing character in the original style:
1st... learn how to draw the eye and the eyebrows like the original style.
then 2nd... learn how the nose and mouth looks in the original style....
3rd... practice in your way.

This is handy. I've been trying to draw him for the reason that I don't have any HidanTema fanart, but it's so hard to get the hair. Scratch that, the whole face.
