Great mood! I wonder how long this took you? I really like the loose, easy feel of the strokes, and of course the color of the lighting and perspective used. I have difficulty portraying perspective so easily. The sense of atmosphere (the obscuring of the background)

I haven't spent much time on this one, about 2-3 hours, using a large elongated brush for the most. If I remember well, I kept the foreground on a separated layer to ease the treatment.

the specals, make me think of spirits floating around

Cool colours mixed with warm colours to strengthen the contrast of the light and shadow.. makes it seem so heavenly, but cruel. Such detail and it takes me there. It's always good if a painting transports me there in an instant, like I could explore it if I just touched the screen.
