Part of the 100 merfolk challenge here: The 100 Merfolks Challenge for The-Mermaids-Club

I really like the frame I mad and I'm pretty sure I'll be using it on quite a few of these challenge drawings. XD
Once again, I tried a more simple approach to the shadowing and tried to have as less layers as normal and I must say, Photoshop ended liking me more. XD
I also experimented with using some textures on the background, which I like.

Aaaaaand, very important for me, I was able to draw the hands without any reference material. :3 Really proud of myself for doing that.

I recommend everyone looking through the challenge list if you're even remotely interested in drawing merpeople. Some ideas in there are really interesting and others might just give you the inspiration you need.
If you see a theme in the list you'd want to see me drawing next, let me know. :3
